There are lots of interesting subjects on Star Island to photograph besides the birds. Thus, I sometimes point my camera at these things. Rarely, however, do I switch away from my long birding lens, so all but the first two photos in this set were made using a 600 mm lens!
The first two photos (made with a typical landscape lens) were made roughly nine and a half hours apart. The sunset and rises on the remaining days of my stay were unremarkable.
Lastly, with regard to the penultimate photo in this series, I always wonder whose job it is to make sure that swift is authorized!!!
