I have not made a salted-paper print in quite some time (several months). I guess that I have been too busy toning cyanotypes!!
However, I made two exposures over the past several weeks that I though would make nice salted-paper prints. Thus, I spent some time this week on the task.
The first exposure, “Hellgate”, was made on our trip to the Second College Grant in northern New Hampshire back at the end of September. Imagine driving logs through this narrow spot in the Dead Diamond River during the high water of the spring thaw and you can see where the name comes from!
The second exposure, of a church in Hillsborough Center, NH, was made the week before last.
As usual this printing technique offers a unique look at your photography. I’m always impressed by the final outcome-.
