Last Sunday, I headed to the Vermont Center for Photography in Brattleboro for their open portfolio review. I left early and headed to Rockingham, Vermont to see the meetinghouse there. Rockingham is sort of on the way from Antrim to Brattleboro… really!
I arrived at the meetinghouse to find, to my surprise, that the building was open (it was the first day of the season) and I was able to photograph the interior as well as the exterior. The first two photos (below) are the result.
Heading to Brattleboro via the back roads, I drove past a dilapidated structure (shed, house???) that looked ‘interesting’. About three or four minutes down the road, after much internal ‘discussion’, I turned the truck around and headed back. I am glad that I did! There was a treasure trove of interesting things to photograph.
Very interesting collection here, Frank. glad you decided to turn the truck around. i’m sure you could have spent hours around these buildings!
Thanks for sharing them. . .
