I spent yesterday afternoon in my basement dim room for the first time in several months. I made six small (4×5 inch) platinum/palladium prints of exposures I made back in May.
The first four photos (from Star Island) were made using a lens not often used for landscapes. I was visiting Star Island for the spring bird migration and thus generally had my 600 mm telephoto lens mounted on the camera. Sometimes, when the birding was slow, I would get distracted and make landscapes using the long lens!!!
You’re right nothing is coming through for your work. May have something to do with crossing state lines? Anyway, i like the effect here. My favorite was the Rye Pond with the clouds!
