November is generally a slow time for me photographically. The skies are often gray. The leafless trees are gray. Not much contrast in this part of the world until the snow flies.
Thus, I have made landscape photographs only once this month The photos below were made a week ago (on 17 November).
Another factor in my lack of photographic productivity is that I have also been keeping busy with the Antrim Players upcoming production of A Christmas Carol.
The Antrim Players are a community theater group founded in 1911. This is their first production after a break of several years around “the pandemic”. Joan’s father always fondly recalled his participation in the Players as a teenager before the Second World War. It is fun to think that now we are involved as well.
In addition to photographing “head shots” of the cast for the lobby cards and the rehearsals, I am member of the “set crew”. We have been busy building and painting walls, desks and other sundry items.
Performances are at 7 PM on Friday, 1 December and Saturday, 2 December 2023 at the Antrim Town Hall. Come one, come all!
Do the talents ever end? Set production now? Let me know when you are in the cast and i’ll be in the audience!
Making lemonade here – great set of imagery on a dreary day.
