Yesterday morning, after hitting the grocery store in Hillsborough, I pointed the truck north in order to check out the barn in Hillsborough Center that was adorned with skeletons for Halloween; I was hoping to find is nicely decorated for Christmas. Alas, there were only some very understated greens in place.
I passed on making any photographs and continued further north to East Washington. There, I took out the camera obscura and made a few photographs before heading home for lunch.
The small building with three doors next to the District #5 schoolhouse had an interesting function. It is a combination outhouse (with separate sides for boys and girls) and woodshed.
How did I miss this set??? Once again the obscura and its monotones work well for these structures. Those shadows added to the interest from my point of view.
