Mostly Meadowhawks

Late this afternoon I wandered our yard just to see what was “out and about”. The temperature was in the upper 70s F and the skies clear.

It was late enough that much of the yard was already in shade. However, the remaining patches of sun often contained Autumn Meadowhawks. There were more females present than males. I observed maybe a dozen and a half individuals total. Among all of the meadowhawks, I also found a lone female blue dasher.
