Late yesterday morning, I headed to Rousseau’s Music in Jaffrey. Joan needed guitar strings. I needed a snare drum. Of course, I took my camera along.
The weather was bright and sunny… perfect weather for infrared (IR) photography.
On my way home, I made the rounds of a number of my favorite places to photograph and concentrated on making images through a filter that blocks most visible light but passes red and infrared light.
As the afternoon progressed clouds began to gather and, as I was driving home, there were scattered sprinkles of rain.
Always impressed with the effects of infrared. I have tried it with limited success.
However, the barn stood out among the group this time.
Snare drum, eh? Can’t wait to hear the rest of the story. . .
