A week ago, as is my habit, I headed out early to attend the Open Portfolio Review at the Vermont Center for Photography with the intention of making a few photographs. The weather was cold and blustery, the light harsh, and sunset came early. I managed to make a few photographs in the lovely (if touristy) town of Grafton, Vermont.
Both of these covered bridges span the south branch of the Saxons River. The Kidder Bridge is still in use. The McWilliams Bridge is in poor condition and used only for pedestrian traffic; it sits right at the Grafton Cheese Company building.
I can’t believe you shot covered bridges WITHOUT me! Interesting looks to both of the bridges.
