I spent yesterday afternoon making six salted-paper prints. All of these prints are on 8×10 inch sheets of Hahnemühle Platinum Rag paper. The image size is 6×7.5 inches or 6.5 inches square.
The untoned print was exposed for 7 minutes (my standard time). The toned prints were exposed for 10 minutes (i.e. about half a stop longer). All of the exposures were made in the past few months.
Some may note that I said I made six prints but that there are only four shown below. The other two are duplicates of the second print shown below. One of the three copies will be donated to the Peterborough Players fund raising auction this fall. The photo is of the theaters back door.
Wow! Impressive prints – hopefully your donation will draw great interest. For me, it’s the first image – “Unsalted” as I feel the tone bring out the antique look of the building.
