We have had a lot of gray skies and flat light over the last several weeks; light that is not conducive to interesting landscape photography. That said, I generally persist and take my camera(s) with me whenever I head out.
Here are a few of the results. The first five photographs were made on 29 January, several days after our last significant snow. Usually the snow on trees does not last very long after the storm passes because the sun comes out and softens the snow even if the temperatures are fairly low. After this storm the sun did not make an appearance for almost a week.
The last two photos were made on 8 February, one the first bright sunny day in almost two weeks.
Ah, the snowy fence and the town center caught my attention for this set. don’t forget to save a few shots for my next visit. you keep heading out like this and they’ll all be taken!
