Winter is a slow time for me photographically. This winter, with its harsh weather, has been particularly slow. I made less that two hundred exposures in each of the last three month, not counting the photos I made of the No Kings rally on Saturday. I think that the rally has helped me to start to get my mojo back.
As seems to be my habit in recent months, I headed out late morning on Sunday to make some photographs before heading to the open portfolio review at the Vermont Center for Photography in Brattleboro which runs from 5-7 PM on the last Sunday of each month.
Here are seven photos from the afternoon’s crop. All but the last one from roaming about Bellows Falls. The last exposure was made at about 8 PM in Brattleboro, near where I had parked the truck.
I know about that photo phunk! The winter seems to bring it out best. I have not been out and about unless you want to c ount the volunteer shoot at the Attleboro Art Museum last week. I will be heading to Newport in two weeks with a group from SBCC.
Here, I particularly liked the “Depot Window” and “No Parking.”
I have taken all of the possible shots at this complex- all buildings from the past days of the Weymouth Naval Base.
i will find some place to shoot before the Newport one.
