Where does the time go? It has been more than a month since my last post. I’ve not been slacking though! In the past month I taught a workshop on salted paper printing and photographed the colorful local landscape a few times.
This season has been one of the best for fall color in recent memory. It started in early September with the ‘swamp maples’ that ring most wetlands turning bright red. The foliage peaked a week or so ago with the reds and yellows of the species of maples farther upland. Currently we are being treated to a nice display of oaks turning orange & yellow and the under story of bright yellow beeches.
Nice being in the backyard of foliage country! As for me, i catch some driving up and down the highway. tough to truly enjoy it this way though. “Craig Pond Road” was #1 on my fav for this batch!
